Description

Short-circuit current Lodestar PT1 is designed to detect and indicate short-circuit currents on distribution power grids with a voltage of 6-35 kV. The device can work on power lines with any type of neutral grounding.

Lodestar PT1 consists of recording device and external measuring sensors. Recording device is placed in the switchgear cell on the control panel. Current transformers are used as sensors, designed for installation on type C Bushings in accordance with EN 50180 and EN 50181 bushings used for distribution elements.

The fault is fixed in the device during short-circuit current flowing. In case of fixing an accident, the mechanical blinker on the device (corresponding to the phase) is turned over with the bright side. At the same time, information is transmitted to the telemechanics (dispatching) system using a relay output. The triggered blinker remains in its state until reset manually (by turning the knob counterclockwise).
