TRANSFORMER PROTECTION DEVICE
The Lodestar FM‑PR‑35 device is designed for substations, including those not equipped with auxiliary power sources. It performs relay protection, automation, control, and signaling functions for step‑down transformers, as well as incoming and outgoing power line feeders.
The device generates control actions for secondary circuits based on real‑time primary parameters of the monitored object, implementing protection, control, and automation functions.
The device is suitable for the following applications:
- protection of supply line inputs and outgoing lines;
- protection of step‑down transformers;
- protection of busbar sections.
Benefits:
- Alarm and short‑circuit indicator – acts as an alarm and short‑circuit indicator during faults.
- Long‑life built‑in battery – integrated battery with up to 30 years of service life.
- Self‑powered operation – powered directly from the included current transformers; no external power needed.
