The IDD-VCR  Vacuum Recloser is used as an automatic sectionalizing point and local backup point in networks with multiple power sources to improve consumer power supply reliability.

The IDD-VCR vacuum recloser is a modern solution for the automation and protection of electrical networks. It is designed for reliable and efficient management of medium‑voltage distribution networks. Equipped with an advanced control and monitoring system, it ensures high operational reliability even under the most challenging conditions.

The device operates without reconfiguration in radial networks, open‑loop networks, closed‑loop networks, and ring networks with dual power supply. Automatic or manual power supply restoration is supported.

The IDD-VCR vacuum recloser blocks operation of overcurrent protection stages during transformer inrush current. Relay protection functions comply with ANSI 50 and ANSI 51 standards.

Optional: equipping the unit with a revenue metering point.
