Fault Passage IndicatorsLodestar CL0.2B VEH are powered from the line.
The devices are designed to locate the damaged section on overhead lines in 6–36 kV distribution networks.
A key benefit of the Lodestar CL 0.2 B VEH is its maintenance-free internal battery. The indicator is powered directly from the line voltage (6 kVand above).
Benefits:
- Power supply – powered directly from line voltage.
- Maintenance-free operation – no servicing needed throughout the entire service life.
- High sensitivity – detects fault currents down to 0.2 A.
- Easy installation – can be installed on any type of overhead line without deenergizing.
- Automatic pickup threshold adjustment – adapts to network conditions.
- Event recording – captures oscillograms and fault event logs for post‑fault analysis.
- Directional fault detection – detects multi‑phase faults (short circuits) and single‑phase earth faults with direction indication for any neutral grounding type.
- Remote communication – optional GSM module enables direct data transmission to SCADA systems.
The Lodestar CL0.2B VEH set consists of three indicators and has a short-range radio channel for connection using the Lodestar App remote control. Lodestar CL0.2B VEH can communicate with different types of receiver models: Communication unit Lodestar Lightbox, Communication unit Lodestar Smartbox.
