How often do false locks of the OLTC drive become a headache for protection relay and automation services? Doesn't the lack of space on the control panel prevent you from installing a modern terminal?
We offer you a simple and reliable solution – the UP-200 OLTC drive regulator. The UP-200 follows a "2-in-1" principle: high-precision voltage regulation and a reliable OLTC drive position indicator. Beyond its cost-effectiveness, the UP-200 improves transformer reliability through continuous OLTC status monitoring.
What does the UP-200 do?
- Simultaneously monitors two busbar systems with the ability to switch between them quickly;
- Controls the three transformer phases independently (synchronous monitoring of three mechanisms);
- Eliminates false locks during normal passage of "dead steps".
Capabilities:
- Automatic voltage regulation and correction based on load current;
- Measurement of current, line voltage, and 3U0 on both bus sections;
- Drive integrity monitoring, blocking during overloads, 3U0 exceedance, voltage drops below set thresholds, and external signals;
- Data transmission to automation systems via USB, RS-485, and "Current Loop" interfaces;
- Extended event log of up to 400 time-stamped records.
Key advantages:
- Works with any OLTC drive position sensors without adapters;
- Standard 144×144×85 mm panel-mounted design saves control panel space and enables easy retrofit for 35–750 kV transformers with smoothly or abruptly changing loads;
- "Master-slave" mode for step balancing ensures automatic maintenance of identical OLTC step numbers on multiple transformers feeding common buses;
- Wide monitored OLTC step range: up to 99 steps.
ATRIY solutions make measurement precise, control flexible, transformer drive regulation reliable, and power equipment automation simple and cost-effective.
