The company ATRIY has successfully completed a series of negotiations and field tests for its Turkish partners, demonstrating the effectiveness of its fault passage indicators and the KOMORSAN system.
ATRIY specialists presented modern fault passage indicators (FPIs) to their Turkish colleagues before moving on to the practical part. During the visit, successful field tests of the equipment were conducted, simulating emergency situations on power lines.
ATRIY engineers artificially created phase-to-phase and single-phase short circuits, and even simulated a conductor break scenario. The tests clearly demonstrated that the FPIs, in conjunction with the KOMORSAN diagnostics and monitoring system, accurately pinpoint the fault location. Furthermore, the equipment showed high resilience to fault current stress.
Following these successful demonstrations, the parties launched pilot projects for smart grid monitoring. This collaboration will enable Turkish power engineers to quickly identify faults and enhance the reliability of their distribution networks.
